Understanding Infertility

Currently, many couples face the challenge of infertility. This condition can be caused by various factors, including increasing age, health problems in both men and women, as well as environmental factors and lifestyle choices. Choosing to consult with a specialist is therefore a crucial first step to help diagnose the cause and plan a targeted treatment, increasing the chances of a successful pregnancy.

At Bangkok IVF Clinic (BIC), we have comprehensive diagnostic procedures, ranging from blood tests, hormone tests, and pelvic ultrasounds to semen analysis, in order to identify the root cause and design a personalized treatment plan for each individual.

ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 30 ปี ที่ผมทำงานด้านเทคโนโลยีช่วยการเจริญพันธุ์ เป็นความท้าทายที่ยิ่งใหญ่ แต่ผมก็มีความเชื่อมั่นมาตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นในเส้นทางนี้ว่า เทคโนโลยีช่วยการเจริญพันธุ์จะพัฒนาต่อเนื่อง และสิ่งนี้ก็ได้พิสูจน์ให้เห็นแล้วจริง ๆ เพราะการรักษาภาวะมีบุตรยากในปัจจุบัน สามารถเพิ่มโอกาสการมีบุตรให้ประสบความสำเร็จจากการรักษาในหลากหลายวิธี

การกระตุ้นไข่ที่เคยสร้างความเจ็บปวดให้แก่ผู้เข้ารับการรักษาและใช้เวลานาน แต่ปัจจุบันสามารถให้ยาแก่ผู้ป่วยนำไปฉีดเอง และแทบไม่รู้สึกเจ็บปวด
จากการทำเด็กหลอดแก้วแบบดั้งเดิม พัฒนามาสู่เทคนิค ICSI ที่ช่วยเพิ่มโอกาสการปฏิสนธิ
จากการย้ายตัวอ่อนในวันที่ 2 หรือ 3 สู่การย้ายตัวอ่อนในระยะบลาสโตซิสต์ (Day 5) ที่ให้ผลลัพธ์ดีกว่า
จากการใส่ตัวอ่อนทีละ 3–4 ตัว มาสู่การใส่เพียงตัวเดียวเพื่อลดความเสี่ยงการตั้งครรภ์แฝด
จากการย้ายตัวอ่อนที่ไม่ได้ตรวจพันธุกรรม พัฒนามาสู่การย้ายตัวอ่อนเพียงตัวเดียวที่ผ่านการตรวจคัดกรองทางพันธุกรรมก่อนการฝังตัว (PGT-A)

ประสบการณ์และการเปลี่ยนแปลงเหล่านี้ทำให้ผมเชื่อมั่นเสมอว่า การรักษาภาวะมีบุตรยากไม่เพียงเป็นเรื่องของเทคโนโลยี แต่ยังเป็นการดูแลผู้ป่วยอย่างใกล้ชิด ควบคู่ไปกับความเข้าใจ และใส่ใจในทุกรายละเอียด เพื่อช่วยให้คู่รักทุกคู่ได้มีโอกาสสัมผัสความสุขของการเป็นพ่อแม่อย่างแท้จริง
